Responsibilities:

● Develops and adheres to all safety practices and procedures to ensure an OSHA approved work environment.

● Acquire equipment manuals, engineering plans, and relative documentation in order to establish effective maintenance plans.

● Performs day-to-day inspections, preventative maintenance and repair of equipment to ensure operational efficiency.

● Functions include but are not limited to: daily inspections, installations, general maintenance (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical) and repairs including but not limited to greasing, lubrication, oil changes, filter changes, removal of production residuals, and replacement of parts.

● Recognize and correct/report unusual or unsafe conditions.

● Layout work and plan accordingly; obtain necessary layouts, sketches, tools, equipment and materials, etc

● Cleans and maintains equipment and work areas

● Properly completes documentation

● Communicates to supervision via written, electronic and verbal methods including attending meetings

Qualifications/Skills:

● Previous experience with 4-5 years of equipment maintenance and repair required.

● Strong attention to detail.

● Ability to work independently under manager supervision.

● Ability to adhere to maintenance schedules.

● Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

● Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy objects or working in various weather conditions.
